GUIDE Consultancy Services (GUIDE in short) and its promoting members regularly visit School Colleges, esp. Professional colleges to enlighten the children about the bad impact of ragging and provide them voluntary guidance , so as to reduce this evil as much as possible. This is done by presenting them with thw daily life ragging cases happening in today’s educational world , some times by giving examples as given below:
While the rest of us celebrate Holi, Destiny has forced the family of Aman Kachroo, A first year student of Dr. Rajinder Prasad Medical College at Tanda in Kangra dist. of HP, to mourn the death of their only son. Aman's parents had never imagined that their beloved son , who had gone to study medicine, would meet such a tragic end.
The family members alleged that according to Aman's Friends, he was beaten up by some of his seniors, who were allegedly in an inebriated condition....._source: The Tribune
This is just one of the many cases of ragging , which is going on with impunity in almost all the Professional Colleges, despite of the Supreme Court ruling clearly banning ragging of any sort in educational campus.
Every year a numerous young and intelligent minds are lost, Just due to the careless attitude of the Management of such Educational Institutions. This is totally their responsibility to take care of any student who is enrolled with them. But still...their attitude is who Cares...forgetting that one day it may happen to their own kith and kin.
GUIDE doesn't need to say any more...as the fact is already well known to all, whether they are common people or the people in power.
But my dear Indians, the time has come for us to stand up united against such evils prevailing in our society and make sure that such incidents don’t happen in future. It will take time but we need to take the step today.
The Brave parents of Aman have decided to launch a campaign against ragging...and it is the Duty of every Indian to support them so as to bring the Dumb authorities out of their sleep. The Time is now or Never....it is up to us to decide....
